After a poor start of the season, the Brown ones were amongest the league leaders by winning 4 consecutive games. On the second game of the second day, Ethiopia Coffee’s 4game winning streak was held by Hadiya Hossana. Former St. George defender Frezer Kassa was the goal scorer for the hadiya side. Ethiopia Coffee was rhe better side in the attacking play, but Hadiya was organized in defense and they were playing a high press game to make Ethiopia Coffee’s players shackey at the back.

Wolkite City got a crucial win over struggling Sebeta City. Wolkite’s striker Ahmed Hussen scored his first and second goal of the campaign. On this game Wolkite took only 9min to score the first goal of the game. Following the dis organized Sebeta City defense, the ball finds Ahmed Hussen, and he converts it to put his side infront. But this lead stands for only 7min. On minute 16 Fitsum G/Mariam scores an equalizer for Sebeta.
Before the final Whistle of the 1st half Wolkite City got a penalty and the captain Getaneh Kebede scored the goal and restore the lead for the Wolkite. After the restart Wolkite put pressure against Sebeta city. 13 min after the kickoff of the 2nd half Ahmed Hussen scores his 2nd and Wolkite’s 3rd goal of the game. Samuel Saliso scored a cracker for Sebeta City, but it is not more than a consolidation goal.

After 9weeks of games, the betking Ethiopian Premier league take a break for more than a month due to the Caf Afcon competition. Out of this 9week Jimma Abajifar was the only side yet to win a single league game, with 8defeats and 1 draw.
