The Ethiopian Premier League (EPL) league  2016/17 season second leg resumes today with two matches lined-up at the Addis Ababa Stadium.

The homestretch is expected to be tight and intriguing especially in the title race where six teams are still in contention for the ultimate glory.

Defending champions top the log with 29 followed by Dedebit on 27 points. Newbies Fasil Kenema, who have taken the Ethiopian football scene by storm, thanks to their colorful fans who follow the team to the hig heavens, seal the top three on 26 points.

Adama Kenema, Sidama Bunna and Ethiopian are equally not far off the top with just about 5 points between them and the leaders.

St. George, fresh from qualifying to the first

round of the CAF Champions League will be

away to Arbaminch Kenema on Sunday, while Dedebit will travel on the same day to Ethiopian Bunna in a top of the table clash.

Relegation threatened Nigid Bank will commence survival charge when they play hosts to Woldia Kenema on Saturday at Addis Stadium, before

Ethio-Electric take on Jimma Aba Bunna in a late kick-off at the same venue.
