The week Ten matches of Ethiopian Premier League have been played on Saturday and Sunday in Addis Ababa and all the regions. There were three matches played on Saturday. at the Tigray Stadium, Sehul Shire held by Jimma Aba Jifar at home and lose their their chance to narrow the gap to the top of the Premier League table. In another game on Saturday Sebeta Ketema back to the winning by defeating Hawassa Ketema. Fitsum G/Mariam and Addis Tesfaye were the scores for the home team.

Parted ways with their head coach GebreKiristos, Wolaita Ditcha have beaten League leaders Mekele 70 Enderta. Hosted at the Sodo Stadium, Welaita astounded defending Champions with a narrow result (1-0)

 

Adama ketema smashed Hadeya Hosanna at home in the Adama Abebe Bikila Stadium. Adama ketema hosted the newly promoted side on Sunday and conquered (2-0) thanks to Dawa Huttesa and Fuad Fereja’s goals.

Fasil Kenema beat Sidama Bunna 1-0 at the Atse Fasiledes Stadium. Thanks to Mujib Kasim’s 10th minute goal which helps the last year’s runner up to retain the 2nd place.

In the relegation match, Wolkite Ketema beat Diredawa ketema 1-0 in their home soil and Sadiq Secho scores the only goal.

Ethiopia Bunna was held a 1-1 draw by Welwalo at the Tigray Stadium. Fikreyesus Teklebran’s goal puts the visitors ahead until 80th minute Misganaw tadesse’s goal cancelled the lead and give a draw to the home team.

In the Addis Ababa National Stadium, Kidus Giyorgis has regained its form after draw to Hadiya Hosanna by beating Bahirdar kenema (1-0). Hayder Sherefa Scored the only goal by half volley which is assisted by Mintesenot adane. The Win helped the team jump to 3rd place.

Bahirdar Kenema’s Goal keeper Haritson Heisu sent off even before the game starts because of Disagreement with the referee in the dressing room.

13goals was Scored in this week games which is half less than last week’s(26). All the 13 goals was scored by 13 different players. Mujib Kasim’s 10th minute goal was the fastest and Fuad Fereja’s 90th minute goal was the late goal in this week games.
