The 6th week matches of Ethiopian Premier League will commence this afternoon. In an opening match, Sebeta will invite Welaita Ditcha to the capital. Sbeta Ketema who was able to share points with Fasil at extra time will play the Tona bees at the Addis Ababa Stadium. The former Fasil man received two goals as Christmas gift at the extra time (91’ and 93’) to share points with the patriots (3-3.

The Brownies (Ethiopia Bunna)will host the new comers on Saturday afternoon. Ethiopia bunna who have drawn goalless at Dire Dawa will play Hosaena Ketema who came up this year from the Super league.

The Southern derby winners against Hawassa City last week (3-1), Sidama Bunna wil host Dire Dawa at the Hawassa Artificial Stadium.

The biggest clash this week will be the Amhara Derby which will be held at the Gondar Stadium between Fasil Kenema and Bahir Dar Ketema. Fasil, who have drawn last week with Sebeta at the last minute will host their neighbors on Saturday.

In a concluding match on Sunday, Kidus Giorgis will host Mekele 70 Enderta. Kidus Giorgis, who lost to Jimma Aba Jifar last week in Jimma, will play the defending Champions in Addis Ababa on Sunday. The horsemen, who have appointed the Serbian coach have only won only one of the six matches they have played so far. Mekele Ketema went on top of the table after having won Welawalo in a North Derby on Monday (2-1).
